How many credits does a question, audit, or advanced report use?
Saving a question and checking it are different actions. Complete audits cost 10 + 2 × questions + questions × (platforms − 1) credits. The shared advanced action report and optional brand checks are included.
These examples use the published credit rates. Before any charged action, the confirmation screen shows the exact total that applies to your selection.
Plus can select up to 10 questions per audit; Pro can select up to 20. Their libraries hold 50 and 100 saved questions per project respectively. Library size does not change the number charged in one audit.

How far do the monthly credits go?
These monthly examples use one project, one selected platform, a full question selection each time and no other credit spending. Brand checks do not change the quote. These are credit-budget examples, not extra guaranteed audit quotas.
Plus: 300 credits/month; up to 10 questions per audit. A full audit costs 30 credits, so up to 10 fit if the questions are already saved. Generate one 10-question set for 2 credits first, and up to 9 full audits fit that month.
Pro: 900 credits/month; up to 20 questions per audit. A full audit costs 50 credits, so up to 18 fit if the questions are already saved. Generate one 20-question set for 4 credits first, and up to 17 full audits fit that month.
If Pro selects only 10 questions per audit, up to 30 audits fit at 30 credits each before other spending.
Worked repeat check: 10 saved questions across 3 platforms cost 50 credits per audit. Running 4 audits uses 200 of Plus's 300 monthly credits, leaving 100 before question generation or other charged work. This is an example, not a monthly run limit; the same selected scope can be checked again when you choose.
Optional brand-name checks follow every selected platform and add no credits to new quotes. Each project includes one website analysis every seven days at no credit charge; paid plans can confirm an additional website analysis for 4 credits. Pro scheduled complete audits use the same multi-platform formula. Old frozen quotes remain unchanged.
Credit and subscription questions
How does the 7-day Plus trial work?
When available, verified accounts with no previous trial or paid subscription can try Plus free for 7 days with 50 one-time credits. Provide a payment card through Waffo’s secure checkout; AI Cite Who does not collect or store your full card number or security code. Choose ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity; ChatGPT is selected by default. Unused trial credits expire at the confirmed trial end. Using all 50 does not start billing early. If you wish to cancel the trial, do so in Account Billing at least 1 hour before it ends to avoid the first charge. Otherwise Plus renews at $49.90/month plus applicable tax, with 300 paid credits per month. Trial-credit use is excluded from the paid-use refund threshold. Early conversion to a paid subscription is not currently available. Cancelling ends trial access and forfeits unused trial credits immediately. Waffo closes the subscription at the original period end. A new subscription is unavailable until that date; afterward you can subscribe without a trial.
Does one question cost 2 credits?
Writing and saving a question manually costs 0 credits. Generating a set costs 2 credits for 10 questions or 4 for 20. Complete audits cost 10 + 2 × questions + questions × (platforms − 1) credits: one question costs 12/13/14 on one/two/three platforms. Optional brand checks are included. Every new run uses this formula, including another run of the same saved questions.
Is the advanced report charged separately?
No. A completed audit includes its advanced action report. Viewing it again costs no credits. Plus and Pro can download Markdown; Pro also offers HTML. Downloads reuse saved results for 0 additional credits.
Do scheduled checks or the brand-name check change the total?
Pro scheduled complete audits use 10 + 2 × questions + questions × (platforms − 1) credits. Optional brand-name checks follow the selected platforms and add no credits to new quotes. The confirmation screen shows the total before you start; existing frozen quotes retain their original amount.
What if I use fewer questions or spend credits elsewhere?
Select 1 to your plan’s question limit and 1–3 available platforms. Fewer questions or platforms lower the audit cost. Question generation and extra website analyses also use credits, so the monthly number of audits can be lower than the examples. Optional brand checks add no credits.
Are the monthly credits separate for each project?
No. Your plan's monthly credits are shared across all projects in your account. The examples above show one project so the arithmetic is easy to follow.
Do unused credits carry over? Does annual billing change the monthly amount?
Included credits are granted each month and do not carry over. Plus receives 300 and Pro receives 900 per month whether you pay monthly or annually.
Can I check my website again, and how long does an audit take?
Every plan includes one website analysis per project every seven days, started by you. Free shows the next available time; paid plans can confirm an extra analysis for 4 credits. View website analysis on the project’s Analysis page; it does not send a completion email. Paid recommendation audits use the selected question/platform formula and show a time estimate before submission. New audits complete without competitor confirmation, and we email the report link when ready. Viewing saved results is free.
